Hamid Tasal Jalagood
Jalalagood Geek Squad is a group of young tech savvy Afghans who work in ICT4D and social media. Our team created this open source map for the eastern province of Nangarhar, Afghanistan in seven months. It took three months to map Jalalabad and another four months to map 21/22 districts in the province. Aid workers and other professionals use these maps to better plan their development projects in Afghanistan. It’s free and anyone can download it and use it on their smart phones. It’s a great way for me to get around when I am new somewhere. We are hoping that we create a detailed open source map of the country in the future. One city at a time!

THis video is not served by Youtube here in Germany.
Can you provide a download link (I am interested in OSM and crowd sourcing. also for teaching purposes)?
Thanks, Franz-Josef Behr
